Tiger Woods will make his return to competitive golf this week at the PNC Championship in Florida.
Previously known as the Father/Son Challenge, the event consists of PGA Tour and Champions Tour players teaming up with a family member.
The pairs will play a 36-hole scramble in a bid to win the Willie Park trophy and a share of the over $1 Million prize fund.
To be eligible for an invitation, players must have won either a major championship or the Players Championship.
Meanwhile, the guest team members range from teenagers through to senior citizens. That’s been the case with Charlie Woods – Tiger’s son – and Mike Thomas – Justin’s father.
Of course, Woods will tee it up with his son again, although the pair are yet to win the event.
John Daly and John Daly II hold the tournament record score, whilst Bernhard Langer and his son Jason are the reigning champions and joint-record winners (five times).
The event has been staged at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando since 2012, and players will return there on Saturday.

Here’s who bookmakers fancy most this week…
Daly/Daly 3/1
Kuchar/Kuchar 4/1
Cink/Cink 4/1
Woods/Woods 9/2
Singh/Singh 6/1
Langer/Langer 13/2
The bunkered Bet
Kuchar/Kuchar 4/1
A round of 57 gave the Kuchar’s a three shot lead after the opening round last year before falling to a T5 finish. A repeat of that would have them go close again, and there’s reason to believe Matt can show his class. He has four top-15 finishes in his last 8 PGA Tour starts and comes here fresh.
