With the regular PGA Tour season over, all eyes are on the Fall Series and the Procore Championship.

Previously known as the Fortinet Championship, it gives players outside the FedEx top 50 the chance to compete for points.

PGA Tour playing rights are on the line, as the top 125 gain exemption for the following season’s regular, full field PGA Tour events and a place in the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

A total of 500 FedEx Cup points will be up for grabs this week, too, as well as a $6 million prize purse.

That does represent a marked drop from last year’s championship, when Sahith Theegala picked up his first Tour title.

The American won just over $1.5 million, while this year’s winner will walk away with just over $1 million. In total, the purse has dropped by around $2.4 million.

Theegala will defend his title, with Wyndham Clark and Max Homa for company.

The bunkered Bet

Max Homa 22/1

The American would be the first to admit he’s struggled as of late, by his own high standards. But he’s a two-time winner of this event and his finishing 67 at the BMW Championship was more like it.

Please gamble responsibly.
