The DP World Tour heads to Sweden for one of the most innovative events on its calendar: the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed.

This co-sanctioned event with the Ladies European Tour is the only tournament on the European circuit that features men and women on the same course battling it out for the same prize fund and the same trophy.

A field of 78 men and 78 women will head to Vasatorps Golf Club in Helsingborg, where the tournament is being staged for the very first time.

The late Seve Ballesteros won the Scandinavian Enterprise Open at this venue back in 1978.

Home favourite Linn Grant made history in 2022 when she became the first woman to win the event, while England’s Dale Whitnell is the defending champion this year after his first DP World Tour win in 2023.

The bunkered bet

It would be bold to bet against a male lifting the trophy at a new venue this year, too. Vincent Norrman, on home soil, is one to watch. The Swede will enjoy the drop down in quality of field from the PGA Tour and finished T14 in this only other start in this event in 2021.
