Do you think you could do Ted Scott’s job?
Say that to his face and see what happens.
Scottie Scheffler’s caddie has had a front seat to one of the most remarkable PGA Tour seasons in living memory, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world No.1 as he’s racked up wins in the Masters, the PLAYERS Championship, the Olympics, the FedEx Cup and several other big events.
Along the way, he’s banked more than $62million in prize money – around $6.2million of which is expected to be deposited straight into looper Scott’s bank account.

Replying to praise for Scott from another tour caddie, Kip Henley, one social media user claimed: “Caddie is the most overrated ‘job’ in history. There are literally 10M people in the US that could do Ted’s job.”
Scott, who previously steered Bubba Watson to two Masters victories, was having none of it.
“Wrong,” he replied. “Not everyone would want to spend time with you because you’re negative and tweet mean stuff. So that leaves 9,999,999 people that could do my ‘job’.”
Plenty of others weighed in to support Scott.

“Seems to me that you do your job in an incredible fashion,” wrote one follower. “Don’t know that anyone could do what you have done this year.”
Another responded: “He’s just jealous you did so well at your job this year you made ten times what he’ll make in a lifetime! Love watching you and Scottie!! Can’t wait for the LIV vs PGA showdown. Should be awesome!”
A third chipped in with: “Ted Scott is the best in the world. Probably 5-10 people who could do his job”
