So, the 2024 PGA Tour season is over – and what a campaign it has been for Scottie Scheffler.
The world No.1 racked up a remarkable seven victories from just 20 starts on the US-based circuit this year.
That haul includes The Masters, The PLAYERS Championship and the season-ending Tour Championship to seal a first FedEx Cup title.
Scheffler, 28, was an astonishing 258-under-par for his season, had a stroke average of 67.9, and brought 70 in 53 of his 79 competitive rounds.
And yet those aren’t even close to his most mind-boggling numbers.

The American earned an extraordinary $62,228,357 on the PGA Tour this year, $25m of which came courtesy of his performance at the Tour Championship.
Per US golf writer Kyle Porter, that works out at $3.3million per tournament; $830,000 per round; or $12,000 per shot.
Based on an average round duration of four-and-a-half hours, Scheffler banked an eye-popping $3,000 per MINUTE spent on the golf course this year.
And all this is to say nothing of the fact he won an Olympic gold medal less than a month ago.

“As far as the year goes, I really don’t know how to put it into words,” said Scheffler.
“We’ve put in a lot of work to get to this point, and it’s been a long week. Right now, I’m just tired, so don’t really know how to put this into words. But it’s a pretty special feeling to be finally holding the trophy.”
He added: “I feel like I’ve lived almost a full lifetime in this one year. It’s been nuts.
“I don’t know, I think it just always comes back to my faith. I think that’s the thing that just keeps me grounded, keeps me in the right frame of mind.”
