Shotsaver offer Turkish golf break

2014 06 Shotsaver Finals Day 3 220

Shotsaver is giving golfers the chance to win a golf trip, including flights, to Belek in Turkey. The winners will play in a Grand Final against 11 other pairs for more prizes and the chance to be crowned the 2014 Drive to Turkey champions.

The local Scottish qualifier is being staged at Deer Park Golf and Country Club, West Lothian on August 25. If you win the event then you and your partner will be heading off to the Sueno Hotel in Belek to play in a three-day competition.

Unlike other competitions, where you have to play several rounds of matchplay and then a regional qualifier to win a trip overseas, Shotsaver are offering the prize after playing in just one of their events.
"The competition actually costs Shotsaver several thousand pounds each year to run."

The competition has been running for the past three years and Shotsaver marketing director Steven Ballard explains the ethos behind the event.

“I wanted to use our marketing budget to run these competitions to create a golfing community of like minded people who just love the game of golf. That way, players can see our products and be encouraged to enter and win something themselves,” he said.

“We use the competition purely as a showcase for our products, the entry fee is used towards the green fees at Deer Park. The competition actually costs Shotsaver several thousand pounds each year to run.”

If you are a member of a golf club and have an active handicap certificate, then you can play. There is a handicap limit of 24 for men and 36 for ladies.
