Welcome to this week’s Social Eyes. With an extra day off between FedEx Cup events – the Deutsche Bank Championship starts on Friday – the #SB2K16 crew of Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and Smylie Kaufman reunited for some golf – at Friar’s Head no less.
After his win at The Barclays on Sunday, at world No.9 Patrick Reed is well on his way to becoming ‘a top five player in the world’, as he boldly proclaimed two years ago.
But for a guy who has such high expectations of himself, the expectations of his dream fourball are, lets say, a little low. Barring Tiger Woods, of course.

We know Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston picked up A LOT of fans at The Open – and this four-year-old even had a birthday cake with his face on it!

We’ve all read about Russell Knox’s Ryder Cup disappointment – but Graeme McDowell also took to Twitter upon the announcement of captain Darren Clarke’s three wildcard picks.
Gutted not to be part of @DarrenClarke60 @RyderCupEurope. Simply have not put up the numbers. Massive congrats to picks esp. @Thomas_Pieters

No one will be pulling harder for #TeamEurope than me and sitting out will give me the drive and motivation I need to play more @rydercup.

Vice-captain Ian Poulter also shared his thoughts after the picks had been made.
Very excited to be Vice Captain for @DarrenClarke60 @RyderCupEurope team. 12 great players have 100% backing of. Going to be fun.

It's was a very difficult decision, as there were so many great options to pick from. I feel for the ones who have missed out.
