Yes, believe it or not, Anthony Kim – who hasn’t played a PGA Tour tournament since May 2012 – was spotted at a Dallas pet store.

Speaking of players who have been absent from the PGA Tour for a while, Tiger Woods hit Instagram on Sunday to post this picture of him and his mum to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom and to all the mothers out there. A love and bond that is truly unbreakable.

And he wasn’t the only one to post a Mother’s Day message…
Been a great Mothers Day! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! #mothersday #angieisthebestmom #pensacola

This fan clearly caught Ian Poulter at the wrong time – both at the Wells Fargo Championship and on Twitter after criticising the Englishman for not signing any autographs for him. Poulter bit back by taking a swipe at his fellow PGA Tour pros.

What a hero! Take a look at Greg Owen stripping down to save this struggling baby bird from a lake during a practice round at TPC Sawgrass!
And about this week’s caddie competition. Yeah, don’t even think about backing Graeme McDowell’s bagman Ken Comboy. FORE!

Facepalm. Reigning Open champion Zach Johnson was asked what his favourite Open Championship course was. His answer: Muirfield Country Club! Have you heard of that Open venue, because I certainly haven’t.

And finally…
What of this year’s Open Championship venue, Royal Troon? Well, Lee Westwood just needed one word to sum it up in this response to Justin Rose’s caddie, ‘Fooch’.
