Social Eyes ‘Beef’ belts burger, Rickie & Bieber party

Welcome to this week’s Social Eyes! Rising European Tour star Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston has become a bit of a cult hero figure in the US since winning the Spanish Open in April.

And, at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, he added to that reputation by doing this:

Sticking with beleaguered Aussie Steven Bowditch, who has shot 12 rounds in the 80s this year, he joked about his current woes after being asked to take a drugs test after one of his rounds at Akron.

You’ve no doubt seen the pics. Danny Willett donned the Green Jacket for his visit to Wimbledon. On social media, he got a wee bit of stick for wearing it, but Thomas Bjorn jumped to the Englishman’s defence with this great tweet…

Prior to the Scottish Open, Graeme McDowell and Rafa Cabrera-Bello scouted out Royal Troon. G-Mac had one word for the par-3 eighth ‘Postage Stamp’: “Wow!”
