Welcome to this week’s Social Eyes. If you didn’t know already, Russell Knox chose world No.322 and fifth-highest ranked Scot Duncan Stewart to be his World Cup of Golf partner.
While Knox has been largely commended by fans for selecting his long-time friend in a bid to ‘change his life’, the decision doesn’t seem to have gone down too well with some off his compatriots.
Take Richie Ramsay for example who, judging by these tweets, isn’t too impressed.
Tuesday was supposed to be day to remember for the right reasons for Lee Westwood as he was officially named as host of the 2017 British Masters with the venue revealed as Close House, where he is the attached Tour professional.
However, it was a day to remember for the wrong reasons… as he was beaten at golf by his son, Sam, for the first time, around Gleneagles’ Queens Course.
With Westwood taking the British Masters to NE England, it’s fair to say Close House regulars Ant & Dec are excited.
V excited that #BritishMasters 2017 will be at @CloseHouseGolf hosted by @WestwoodLee. Already practicing for the Pro-Am!!

While we imagine there are no hoodies allowed in Buckingham Palace, it appears they are now allowed on the golf course.
PGA Tour player Morgan Hoffmann was wearing one at Safeway Open. Thoughts?
