Welcome to this week’s Social Eyes. The USGA got ridiculous amounts of stick for their handling of Dustin Johnson’s ruling on Sunday night, with Rory McIlroy in particular referring to it as ‘amateur hour’.
But one guy was calling out the USGA way before Sunday night. Charley Hoffman had this to say on Saturday.
And, after all was said and done, the winner didn’t really seem to care.
It's been a crazy week, and I wanted to thank everyone for their support, but there's still a lot of golf left this season!!

Neither did his coach Claude Harmon…
After his US Open nightmare, Rory McIlroy headed back to Europe – but not for golf. Just the small matter of Northern Ireland’s final group game in Euro 2016 against Germany…

And despite getting beat 1-0, Northern Ireland made it through to the last 16.

Lee Westwood had another solid major performance – at least until the final round where he shot 80 to plummet down the leaderboard. And, after playing alongside the year’s first two major winners in the final round in Danny Willett and DJ, he joked on Twitter, saying:
YES! I'm still on for the playing in the last round with the winner of every major this year slam!!! #welldoneDJ

Safe to say Rickie Fowler got a bit jealous at the weekend. After his Snapchat antics with Dash Day last week, it turns out young Dash popped off to the cinema with… Bubba Watson and son Caleb.

.@bubbawatson where was my invite?
— Rickie Fowler (@RickieFowler) June 17, 2016
But Fowler did catch up with Tiger Woods ahead of the Quicken Loans National. He posted this on Snapchat.
On the European Tour, it’s BMW International Open week. And at Dusseldorf airport, Masters champ and Liverpool fan Willett just happened to bump into Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.

And finally…
Nine months on from Team USA’s Solheim Cup win, they were invited to the White House of all places to catch up with none other than President Obama.
