Wyndham Clark will want to quickly forget about the 2025 PGA Championship.

Despite making the cut at Quail Hollow, the 31-year-old signed for rounds of 73 and 74 over the weekend to finish in a tie for 50th place.

In fact, it’s the seventh consecutive major championship since his 2023 US Open win in which he’s finished outside of the top 30.

The highlight – well, lowlight – was when Clark saw red, following his tee shot at the 515-yard par-4 on Sunday afternoon.

With his 322-yard strike heading straight for a bunker down the right-hand-side of the fairway, Clark turned around and launched his driver straight through an advertising board.

Hilariously, it happened to be of one of his main sponsors, T-Mobile, whilst he donned a hat printed with the network operator’s name on it.

You can see the incident, below.

And, of course, with Scottie Scheffler striding towards a first Wanamaker trophy, social media had plenty of time to weigh in.

Even the marshal, standing behind the tee box posted a picture and wrote: “I’m the Marshall holding the flag. Scared me to death.”

Here’s how X responded…
