What a week of golf we have in store.
Robert Trent Jones Golf Club is set for the 19th edition of the Solheim Cup and USA are hungry to end a seven-year drought.
A tie at Finca Cortesin 12 months ago meant Europe walked away with the trophy after wins in 2019 and 2021.
Spain’s Carlota Ciganda stole the show, finishing 4-0 and seeing off world No.1 Nelly Korda in singles, while she holed the putt to confirm the result.
Unlike Ciganda, Georgia Hall required a captain’s pick from Suzann Pettersen, as did Anna Nordqvist and rookie Albane Valenzuela.
The Swiss debutant is joined by Esther Henseleit in lining up for the first time in blue and gold, while Team USA also has two rookies.
After a two-win LPGA Tour season, Lauren Coughlin earned a place in Gaineseville before Lewis called up Sarah Schmelzel.
You can find out more about the two teams here, who will compete across the three days of match play.

USA 1-3 points 7/2
Team Europe has enough nous to keep this a tight affair, but the Americans are deserved favourites. Lead by Nelly Korda and Lilia Vu, Stacy Lewis’ charges are primed to reverse the fortunes of recent years and end the drought.
