Solheim Cup results: How Team USA regained the trophy

No sporting event guarantees drama quite like the Solheim Cup.

The 2024 edition was no different.

Team USA survived a thrilling comeback from Suzann Pettersen’s European side on a stirring Sunday at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia.

Lilia Vu secured the winning moment as she tapped in for a birdie to turn her match against Albane Valenzuela around on the 18th.

This is the first time the Americans have won the Solheim Cup since 2017.
