Investec South African Open Championship 2025: Prize money payout in full

Dylan Naidoo became the latest native player to win the South African Open on Sunday, but he did so in dramatic fashion. 

The event was cut to 54 holes after heavy rain and flooding plagued the event from the off and, subsequently, suspending final round play. 

So, Naidoo entered a shootout with Englishman Laurie Canter at Durban Country Club, with plenty on the line. 

With victory at the second oldest national open in the world, Naidoo left over €245,000 richer and grabbed one of three Open berths available as part of the Open Qualifying Series. 

For Canter, the result was enough to see him climb into the world’s top 50 and become the first ex-LIV man to qualify for next week’s Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. 

Meanwhile, Marco Penge and Darren Fichardt secured the remaining two Open tickets.
