The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final was staged on Sunday, with 22 DP World Tour cards up for grabs in Spain.

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen topped the Race to Mallorca standings and secured his DP World Tour before the finale at the Club de Golf Alcanda.

But the Dane was edged out for the title by Norway’s Kristoffer Reitan after faltering on Sunday’s back-nine. Reitan climbed 29 spots with his memorable win and is now guaranteed a place on the main tour in the 2025 season.

“I’m super happy but it has not sunk in yet whatsoever,” Reitan said after his win. “It’s probably going to take a few hours or maybe a few days. It’s really nice to be able to play well when it really mattered. I never thought this would be a possibility even a few months ago.”

Alongside Reitan, a mixture of seasoned former tour pros and promising youngsters will make the step up having started out on the Challenge Tour in 2024.

Alex Levy, a five-time winner on the DP World Tour, makes a welcome return after the Frenchman agonisingly lost his card last term.

Lucas Bjerregaard is another notable name back on Tour. The 33-year-old Dane, who won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland, is showing signs of a resurgence after a dramatic slump in recent years.
