The full teams & contenders for the 2018 World Cup of Golf

The 2019 European Tour season gets underway this week in Hong Kong, while there's also the small matter of 'The Match' between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson in Las Vegas on Friday.

But also taking place this week is the World Cup of Golf at The Metropolitan Golf Club, where 28 teams of two will compete over four days to lift the trophy.

The format is a 72-hole stroke play event, in which the first and third days consist of fourball play and the second and fourth consist of foursomes, and we've outlined some of the main contenders for the title.
