As quickly as the new season comes around, it’s over in a flash.
The PGA Tour has already reached Signature Event seven of the season, with only two limited field events left up for grabs.
Hosted and funded by Jack Nicklaus, it’s the turn of the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, as the world’s best take on one of the tour’s toughest courses.
Muirfield Village takes centre stage, 50 years after Nicklaus opened it – before he created the tournament in 1976.
It was only one of five tournaments on the PGA Tour to be given ‘invitational’ status, so already boasted a more exclusive field with just 120 players.
However, it became part of the circuit’s new ‘Signature’ system ahead of the 2024 season.
Over the years, the Memorial has built an elite winners list including five-time champion Tiger Woods – who completed a hat-trick of wins between 1999 and 2001.

The bunkered Bet
Justin Thomas 25/1
The Jack Nicklaus-designed Muirfield has similarities to Valhalla, which hosted the PGA Championship recently. Putting has let Thomas down this season, where results and overall play have pointed to a win coming. Past winners of this haven’t always been the most prolific on the greens, though, and JT’s elite approach play could be the difference.
