Tiger Woods confirms relationship with Trump’s ex daughter-in-law

Tiger Woods has taken to social media to confirm that he is in a relationship with the former daughter-in-law of US president Donald Trump.

The golf icon confirmed that he and Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jnr, are dating after weeks of speculation on social media and in various tabloids.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side,” wrote Woods, who also posted two photographs of he and and his new partner.

“We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

According to the Daily Mail, the couple have been dating since Thanksgiving.

Vanessa’s eldest daughter, Kai, and Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie, all reportedly attend The Benjamin School in Florida, where tuition fees cost $38,595 a year.

Vanessa, 47, is the first confirmed relationship Woods has been in since he split with his former partner Erica Herman in 2022 – a break-up that subsequently became litigious.

Likewise, Tiger, 49, is Vanessa’s first known partner since she and Donald Trump Jnr divorced in 2018.

Before they got together, she had been romantically linked to Valentin Rivera – a member of the Latin Kings gang – as well as actor Leonardo Di Caprio and Saudi prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud.

She and Don Jnr married at the Mar-a-Lago club in Florida in 2005. They have five children together, the oldest of whom is Kai, a promising young golfer. Both she and Charlie played in the Sage Valley Invitational this weekend, a prestigious junior golf tournament in the US.

It is understood that neither Tiger nor Vanessa were in attendance.

News of Woods’ new love comes with the 15-time major champion sidelined indefinitely following surgery earlier this month for a ruptured Achilles tendon.

The former world No.1 hasn’t made a competitive tour start since missing the cut at last summer’s Open Championship at Royal Troon.
