Another tour winner has announced a shock retirement from professional golf.
Amy Boulden, who turned pro in 2013 and lifted one title on the Ladies European Tour, has called it a day at the age of 31.
After a glittering amateur career, Boulden won the LET Rookie of the Year title in 2014 before earning a long-awaited win at the 2020 Swiss Ladies Open.
“As the 2024 season comes to a close, I wanted to take the time to share some news with you all,” she wrote on Instagram.
“After 11 years of playing professionally on the Ladies European Tour, I have made the tough decision to step away from playing competitive golf.

“The journey, full of highs and lows, has been nothing short of incredible, and I look back full of gratitude for having the opportunity to play this sport all over the world and meet some amazing people along the way.”
“I would also like to say thank you for all the support over the years – to my coaches, caddies, sponsors and family that have been there every step of the way.
“I now look forward with excitement to the next chapter of my life… thank you.”
Boulden burst onto the scene alongside the likes of Charley Hull and Bronte Law, winning the 2012 Curtis Cup with the pair.
She also represented Wales in four European Ladies Team Championships and teed it up in the Junior Solheim Cup and Vagliano Trophy.

But, in recent years, Boulden has worked in the media, making appearances on Sky Sports and The AIG Women’s Open radio.
Meanwhile, Boulden announced in February that she was partnering with online content subscription platform OnlyFans.
“Collaborating with OnlyFans gives me the opportunity to connect directly with fans and bring my followers on the journey with me as I compete around the world,” she said.
“OnlyFans is revolutionising the way we use social media, so launching my page on the platform felt like a natural next step for my career.
“With women’s golf continuing to grow in popularity, OnlyFans feels like the perfect platform to showcase the sport globally.”
The deal meant Boulden played her final season wearing OnlyFans branding.
