For the first time in six years, the Turkish Airlines Open was back on the DP World Tour calendar – with lots at stake.

The popular event returned for the first time since 2019 at the stunning Regnum Carya resort in Antalya to kick off the circuit’s European Swing.

In just a short space of time, the Turkish Airlines Open has compiled quite a winners list, with Justin Rose, Victor Dubuisson, Brooks Koepka and – most recently – Tyrrell Hatton past champions.

In fact, every past single winner of the Turkish Airlines Open is also a Ryder Cup winner.

Perhaps this year’s winner could join them.

Martin Couvra, the 22-year-old from France, stormed to a two-shot victory in his rookie season on the DP World Tour with a closing round of 64 in Antalya.
