WATCH: Patrick Reed takes a tumble

PATRICK REED | SCOTTISH OPEN

When Patrick Reed signed up for the Scottish Open, we bet he didn't have playing a shot like this in mind.

On just his second hole of the day - the par-5 second - the Ryder Cup star pulled his drive into some fescue on a hill.

Faced with an incredibly tough second shot, where he could only manage the smallest of backswings, the American somehow managed to play his way out - but took a slide on his way back to the fairway - drawing reaction from the galleries.
