The weather wreaked havoc during the second round of the Farmers Insurance Open and one PGA Tour pro felt it more than most.

Adam Svensson, a winner on Tour, was battling to make the cut on the North Course at Torrey Pines when disaster struck.

The Canadian stood over a ten-foot birdie putt on the par-5 ninth hole but was left fizzing after an official blew a horn to signal a suspension in play.

Following an earlier wind delay, play was halted due to darkness and, of course, Svensson, 31, watched his interrupted putt slide past the hole.

The official cut wasn’t made, but his two-over score through 36 holes was one short of the one-over cut line set to send 70 players into the weekend.

You can watch it all unfold below:

Svensson, 31, isn’t the only member of the air horn club. Fellow PGA Tour pro Keith Mitchell joined that in 2023.

Golf fans might recall the hilarious incident, as Mitchell slammed his driver after a wayward tee shot at the Players Championship.

His ball found the water on par-4 fifth at TPC Sawgrass right as an official blew an air horn, signalling that play was suspended.

Meanwhile, Lanto Griffin and Ludvig Aberg currently hold a share of the Farmers Insurance Open lead on six-under-par.

The event has been somewhat marred by an array of withdrawals, and Max Homa was the latest to add his name to the list, albeit mid-round.

Homa, who was nine-over for the tournament, became the 15th player to call it quits before or during the tournament.

World No.2 Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa were among the key WDs before Wednesday’s tee off.
