Wells Fargo Championship 2022: Preview, betting tips & how to watch

The PGA Tour heads back to the US this week for the Wells Fargo Championship after its brief sojourn in Mexico.

Normally played at Quail Hollow in North Carolina, this year it is at TPC Potomac in Maryland as the regular venue is hosting the President’s Cup.

The event has a record of attracting some of the biggest names in the game.

First held in 2003, it has become one of the PGA Tour’s key events. It is also home to one of the toughest finishing stretches on the circuit, with 16, 17 and 18 known as the Green Mile.

Rory McIlroy won here last year, and he is the most successful player in the tournament’s history with three wins.
