Situated in the south east of Scotland and inspired by the great links courses of Britain, Craigielaw is part of the East Lothian coastline that has built a reputation on its fine links courses.
Despite only opening in 2001, it has already played host to many national events including the 2006 Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Championship and was used as a qualifying course for the 2007 British Seniors Open at Muirfield.
Tough obstacles surround the course as the rough varies between heavy and thick to light and wispy and the bunkers are strategically placed in some of the most testing positions.
