After a Wednesday start and 36 holes at Le Golf National, Switzerland’s Morgane Metraux leads the gold medal race.

Catapulted to the top of the leaderboard by a front nine 28 and six-under 66, she heads into the third round with a one-shot advantage.

Nelly Korda was primed to launch her bid for a second gold until the two-time major champ posted a quadruple bogey seven on the par-3 16th.
