The PGA Tour’s only tournament in Japan returns as a number of big names make the long journey to compete at the ZOZO Championship.
The co-sanctioned event with the Japan Golf Tour is the fifth event of the PGA Tour’s Fall Season and has a limited field of 78 players.
Last year’s winner Colin Morikawa is back in the field alongside fellow Americans Sahith Theegala, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas and Max Homa. Japanese superstar Hideki Matsuyama, meanwhile, will be a huge crowd favourite on home soil.

This is the sixth renewal of the ZOZO Championship. The inaugural edition was won by Tiger Woods at the Narashino Country Club in 2019, his record-equalling 82nd PGA Tour title.
The 15-time major champion held off Matsuyama to win by three shots in what remains the most memorable ZOZO Championship so far.
Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 ZOZO Championship…

ZOZO Championship betting tips
Here’s who the bookies fancy this week…
Xander Schauffele 9/2
Collin Morikawa 7/1
Hideki Matsuyama 8/1
Sungjae Im 14/1
Sahith Theegala 18/1
Justin Thomas 20/1
The bunkered bet
Sahith Theegala 18/1
We backed Theegala for this event last year but he only managed tied 19th in the 2023 renewal. There is good reason to have faith in the American again, though. The tree-lined Narashino venue is clearly a place he enjoys after his fifth place finish on debut in 2022. He finished T7 at the Procore Championship last month in his only start since the FedEx Cup playoffs. He’ll be refreshed and raring to go.
