He was unable to hit the ball the same length as Joe Miller, but European Tour player Sebastien Gros still raised a few eyebrows at Callaway's Kings of Distance with his big-hitting.
The Frenchman averaged 311.7 yards in his maiden season on the European Tour - where his best finish was fourth at the Alfred Dunhill Championship - and smashed a string of impressive drives at the afternoon clinic in front of the 96 golfers.
But it was what happened after that which caused a barrel of laughs among everybody watching. With a bagpiper on-site to mark Callaway's first visit to Scotland for Kings of Distance, Gros had remarked to the brand's marketing manager Nick McInally earlier in the day that he fancied a shot.
And his wish came true - but lets just say it was a LOT tougher than he'd anticipated as he could barely even make a noise after 20 seconds of trying.
