Turkey’s Antalya region is a rising star in the golf world, largely thanks to the upmarket resort of Belek which boasts an array of world class choices.
The small town on Turkey’s southern Mediterranean coast is known for its beaches and nearby archaeological sites, but the golf scene is thriving.
It truly is a golfer’s paradise with courses and hotels to make this an unforgettable trip, and they don’t come much better than Antalya Golf Club and the Sirene and Kempinski Hotels.

Antalya Golf Club
One of the very best golf complexes in Turkey, Antalya Golf Club spoils residents for choice with two stunning 18-hole golf courses.
To have one course this good on your doorstep is a joy but two is a treat. The PGA Sultan and Pasha Course were designed by leading architects European Golf Design and thanks to Turkey’s climate can be enjoyed all year round.
Similar in design, they wind their way through the woods, negotiating sandy banks and crystal-clear ponds along the way.
Water features in half of the holes on each course, while sneaky pot bunkers add to the challenge on the fairways and around the greens.
The illustrious PGA Sultan course has no two holes the same, each requiring its own strategy.
Courses aren’t granted PGA status for no reason, and this is no exception and despite hosting travelling golfers in their hordes, you can always rely on the course being in top condition.
The same can be said for Antalya’s shorter course, the Pasha. At 6,300 yards from the back tees, it is around 700 yards shorter than PGA Sultan but as the club says, “it’s no walk in the woods.”
The positioning of water hazards and bunkers is what makes Pasha so enjoyable, despite lacking in distance.
Designed for all, the short par-4s are always going to be a hit, while it’s a gentler challenge to the championship-calibre course alongside it, but there is no shame in that.
Combined with stunning surroundings and perfect weather, Antalya Golf Club is a must visit for an unforgettable golf experience.

Hotels
Adjacent to the golf courses, the luxury Sirine and Kempinski Hotels make a golf trip to Belek, and you’d be daft not to bask in their glory.
Established in 1897, Kempinski Hotels is the oldest luxury hotel group in Europe and its Belek retreat brings the Mediterranean and the Taurus Mountains together to offer luxury, comfort and entertainment.
Its modern architecture still carries the influences of the Seljuk period, situated on 70,000 square meters. With 139 deluxe rooms, 19 suites and 43 lagoon suites, this is one of the most ideal spots to relax off the course.
That’s not to mention the 16 royal golf villas, two Pasha villas, eight Sultan villas, one presidential villa and one new lagoon villa that bring this golf stay to life.
It’s needless to say, they offer stunning views from their extensive balconies and a stylish shared pool with direct access.
Whether you want to taste unique local flavours and international cuisine, experience live music performances or loosen up at the Dome Sanitas Spa, the Kempinski has laid down a marker as a leading choice in golf holidays.
The new Bohemia suites and villas at Sirene Belek Hotel are every bit as good an option, too.
With direct access to the pool from the luxurious hideouts, you can enjoy a holiday in luxury ultra-all-inclusive suites and villas designed with aesthetic touches of bohemian architecture.
Treating yourself to a villa seems a wise move, as they are equipped with their own pools, where you can cool off in the Mediterranean sun, and they also come equipped with private terraces.
If that’s not quite selling it, then how about having your own private beach? The five-star resort, nestled between the two courses, has a spectacular pier and exclusive pavilions.
With 250 suites to choose from, the options are limitless, but we can guarantee you won’t want to leave.
