La Cala Resort is celebrating 30 years of world-class golf in 2019 and, to mark the occasion, a special event was held that also paid tribute to gastronomy and hospitality.

The event was attended by world-renowned golf architect Cabell B Robinson – designer of La Cala’s three championships courses – and various other dignitaries.

They included the Mayor of Mijas, Jose Antonio Gonzalez Perez, and managing director of tourism, Patricia Navarro Perez.

The resort offers 54 holes for members and visitors to enjoy and is ideally located only 30 minutes from Malaga airport.
