It goes without saying it’s the oldest of the seven courses on the island, having been founded by a number of golf-mad Brits and local golfers hooked on the great game.

The port at Las Palmas was a popular stop for Brits on their way to India on cruises back in the late 1880s. They used to stay in the local area and decided that a golf course was required. Good thinking. That course has since been joined by a further six layouts, making this island one of the absolute go-to hotspots for sun-seeking golfers.
