Golf property group De Vere has announced it is increasing its partnership with Golf GameBook, the mobile scoring system and interactive golfing community, by introducing a series of competitions for users across all De Vere Golf resorts.
Golfers can compete for a host of prizes and the opportunity to be entered into a number of prize draws during each round.
Open to all golfers across the UK, anyone who plays during the designated competition period up to the September 7 using a Golf GameBook device or app will be competing for the weekly lowest nett score.
De Vere prizes
The winner will receive a one night stay and two rounds of golf for two at any of the leading properties in the De Vere Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
Alongside this, all competitors from across the properties during the period will be entered into a grand prize draw to win two nights accommodation - dinner, bed and breakfast - and three rounds of golf for two at any of the company's Golf resort's.
“These competitions provide great incentives for members and visitors alike" - Keith Pickard, De Vere
De Vere members can also take part in their own competition, where the leading nine players will win a place at a golf day with European Tour professional and Golf GameBook Ambassador, Mikko Ilonen.
Members can enter by playing a minimum of four rounds in Saturday or Sunday De Vere Club competitions before the October 31.
Keith Pickard, De Vere group director of golf, is hopeful the giveaways will attract the attention of golfers from all over.
“We have been working hard with Golf GameBook to discover new interactive ways in which we can develop our partnership,” said Pickard.
“These competitions provide great incentives for members and visitors alike to come and experience the golfing excellence on offer at De Vere Hotels & Resorts.”
Pickard is also confident GameBook will be well received by golfers looking to be part of a wider golfing community.
“Golf GameBook is one of the leading innovators in the game of golf, and it links closely with our continual quest to improve golfing experiences across our resorts.
“Adding these initiatives to our fully interactive website and new direct tee time booking pages - www.dvteetimes.com - highlights how we are continuing to develop our digital platforms for golfers.”
