Mallorca :: Your next golfing holiday

2015 06 Alcanada

Think of Mallorca and what immediately springs to mind is probably its amazing beaches, beautiful landscape, bright sunshine, excellent food and relaxing atmosphere.

However, the Balearic island has become one of the most popular golf destinations in Europe and in less than two hours by plane from a host of major European airports, you will find more than 20 top category courses in marvellous surroundings, all within an hour’s drive.

From the Robert Trent Jones Jr-designed Club de Golf Alcanada (above) in the far north of the island to the Jack Nicklaus-designed Golf Park Mallorca Puntiro (below), just a short drive from the capital Palma, there truly is a course for everybody.

To combat the increased interest in golf on the island, the Association of Golf Courses on Mallorca (ACGM) has launched, a website which contains a vast amount of information about the golf courses on Mallorca and also any tournaments or other events.

Some fantastic photos can also be found to provide a virtual impression of what’s in store on Mallorca, and online booking couldn’t be easier.

So don’t just choose Mallorca for the sun, sea and sand, choose it for a fabulous golfing experience!
