Turnberry unveils stunning offer

2014 08 Turnberry

Golfers are being invited to take advantage of a special offer to play the Ailsa Course at the Trump Turnberry Resort for just £99 over the next fortnight.

The renowned South Ayrshire resort, which has hosted the Open Championship on four occasions, most recently in 2009, is offering rounds for just £99 at specific times on each of the following dates: 11th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 21st, 25th and 27th.

The Ailsa Course is the senior of the two courses at the Trump Turnberry Resort, which was recently purchased by American tycoon Donald Trump.

In 2012, readers of bunkered voted the resort the inaugural winner of Scotland’s Best Experience in association with VisitScotland.

Offering spectacular views across to the Isle of Arran, Ailsa Craig and, on a clear day, as far as Ireland, the Ailsa is a spectacular test of golf and one of Scottish golf’s true gems. Its famous lighthouse has become one of Scottish golf’s most iconic landmarks, in the same bracket as the Swilcan Bridge on the Old Course in St Andrews.
