When it comes to golf destinations, there are too many to choose from. So, we want to share our favourite city breaks that won’t break the bank in 2025.
In no particular order…
Barcelona – España
The Spanish capital might be better known for its football team but it’s a quality option for golf, too. The west coast of Spain is brimming with food, culture and sunshine but if you’re just there for the golf, you won’t be disappointed.
Camiral, formerly PGA Catalunya, is home to the Stadium Course, one of the best in Europe. As the name suggests, this course has big events in mind. It will certainly test your game while the city will undoubtedly keep you occupied.

Belfast – Northern Ireland
A quick flight over from Scotland takes you to Belfast and some of the world’s best courses. You could easily spend a month here and play a different course in the area every day but, if you can, make the journey north to Royal Portrush or south to Royal County Down.
The former hosted the 2019 Open and the latter would no doubt do likewise if it had the infrastructure to match the course. Both are spectacular.

Paris – France
The setting for Europe’s dominant 2018 Ryder Cup performance, Le Golf National is a only a half-hour drive from the Eiffel Tower.
It’s not just about the Ryder Cup course, though; the resort has two other offerings that are shorter and with fewer water hazards. Although, with the aqua that surrounds the Ryder Cup layout, that wouldn’t be hard!

Stockholm – Sweden
Don’t overlook Scandanavia for a golf retreat. You’re guaranteed a friendly welcome as well as some of the best courses you’re ever likely to play.
If you make the trip to Sweden, make sure Bro Hof Slott is on the itinerary. This was the venue of the Scandinavian Masters for several years and it’s popular among the pros. If you’re going in the summer, leave the coat at home. It actually gets pretty balmy.

Prague – Czech Republic
Prague offers the perfect blend of quality golf and great off-course fun. Pick of the bunch for the golf is the Albatross Resort, host to the Czech Masters since 2014.
There are loads of other options nearby that won’t break the bank either. Regardless of your golf, though, you’ll certainly enjoy everything that Prague has to offer.
