Lochgilphead Golf Course is a scenic nine-hole course set in the rolling hills of Mid Argyle.
The well-presented parkland layout has a par of 64, for those willing to play a full 18 holes at a total of 4,518 yards. It offers a variety of challenges throughout, making it an exciting test for golfers of all abilities. The slightly undulating course has several standout holes, including the ninth, which doubles up as the closing 18th.
Played towards the clubhouse, "Hen Run" is a 163-yard par-3 which rewards good iron play. A seemingly innocuous burn can act as somewhat of a card-wrecker, and you could be forced to chip over the wall if you go long with too much club off the tee.
