Located on the Isle of Bute, a beautiful island in the Firth of Clyde, Rothesay is a Ben Sayers and James Braid design that is one of Scotland's most scenic island courses.

Established in 1892, the course has beautiful views over the Clyde, to the north and to the south, making visitors return to Rothesay year after year. Also overlooking arran and the Coral Peninsula, the views alone are worth the green fee, but the course is a treat, too.

Playable for all, Rothesay still features its fair share of challenges. At only 5,419 yards, the length isn't likely to catch you out, but the rolling par-4s and testing par-3s will.

The longest hole is the 16th, called 'sleeping Warrior, at 523 yards is a dogleg to the right with a sloping green, while the closing hole, a par-3, offers a superb chance to finish your round with a birdie and walk off the green with a spring in your step.
