Located within the Irvine Valley in the heart of Ayrshire, Loudoun Gowf Club is regarded as one of the best inland courses in the area. It is approximately 30 minutes from Glasgow and a short drive from the coastal towns of Prestwick, Troon and Ayr.

The superb parkland layout measures just over 6,000 yards and is a par-68. The course is set in gently undulating countryside, with mature trees lining the fairways and natural streams catching stray shots.  There is one par-5, the 512-yard fifth hole where a burn must be negotiated across the fairway.

The signature hole, though, is the stunning par-4 12th called "Marsh." It is a risk-reward short par-4 where the fairway is again split by a burn and even more trouble up at the green.
