The older sibling to the Antonine course, the Carrickstone course is steeped in history dating back to 1896. An extension to 18 holes was overseen by James Braid 30 years later, before Dave Thomas laid out a complete redesign - and a renaming to the Carrickstone course - during the club’s centenary year.
The intriguing opening par-3 provides an early test, while a tough closing stretch of three par-4s will keep you honest all the way to the house.
