While many may consider Muirfield to be the jewel in East Lothian's golfing crown, Gullane Golf Club is not far behind it, as many of those who have played here in Open Championship qualifying over the years can attest. It is links golf at its best, with the undulating fairways and greens providing the ultimate golfing test for even the most seasoned players.
The climb alone is worth it, where you can stand on the seventh tee and enjoy glorious views over Edinburgh, the Forth Bridges and Fife. This pristine championship course has hosted many big tournaments in the past, including the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open in 2018.
