Haddington Golf Club is a historic parkland course set in a former country estate. In fact, it's the 19th oldest golf club in the world, as it opened its doors way back in 1865.
The course is guarded by walls near the River Tyne, containing many natural features, with plenty of indigenous wildlife around.
A variety of trees along the River Tyne come into play on the 11th and 15th holes, while some of the most interesting views come from two historic buildings dotted on the course.
You might have heard of a few other courses in East Lothian, but this is a peaceful break from those, taking nothing away from just how good it is.
