Auchterderran is a nine-hole course set in the heart of Fife on the east coast of Scotland, that opened in 1904.
In a region where there are some of the most famous golf courses on the planet, Auchterderran offers visitors a more relaxed venue for a game, particularly if they're looking just to play nine holes on a budget. The course is maintained by Fife Golf Trust, as well as many of the members of the club who volunteer to keep the course in condition.
The course itself is set in the former mining village of Cardenden and boasts wonderful views of the local countryside. The members of the club pride themselves on a warm and friendly welcome and, as such, is freely available to visitors and visiting parties.
