Lochgelly is a beautifully-presented parkland course located in the heart of Fife with stunning views of the Ochil and Lomond hills. This superb 18-hole layout has a fantastic reputation in the area, with the views across the Lomonds and Ochils worth the green fee alone.
The course, itself, meanwhile, is a relatively flat 5,454 yard par-68 that is an easy walk, but also a challenging 18 holes, making it a thoroughly enjoyable golfing test for players of all abilities.
The 17th, named "Crow's Nest", is a brilliant par-3 that has a huge uphill elevation change, demanding good club selection. Then, accuracy is essential on the closing 18th with a water hazard and bunker lurking in the distance off the tee. When you have negotiated that challenge, there is a welcoming clubhouse and bar to toast your round.
