In the north of Scotland, Brora is home to a superb golf course. Brora Golf Club was established in 1891 and has more than stood the test of time.
Characterised by the electric fences that surround the greens, the course at Brora shares the land with sheep and cows, but is also one of the best presented layouts you're likely to find anywhere.
James Braid designed this links course, that starts off with a gentle par-4, before heading along the course in a traditional out and back layout.
The par-3 ninth is the furthest hole from the clubhouse, a tricky hole that has you hit straight towards the North Sea.
If you're in the area, Brora is well worth stopping into, for a traditional Scottish links experience.
