Cabot Highlands is home to Castle Stuart Golf Links, a championship links course near Inverness.
The course has spectacular views over the Moray Firth and several of the area's famous landmarks, including the Kessock Bridge and the Chanonry Lighthouse.
It has hosted four Scottish Opens and is a favourite amongst some of the professionals, thanks to wide fairways and challenging green complexes. The stunning course begins right beside the Moray Firth, with the first three holes running along the coast. Then, you will see Castle Stuart itself from the fourth tee, on a hole that is a short but difficult par-3.
The ninth hole takes you back to the clubhouse, with the back nine continuing the other side of the property. The finishing hole is a superb par-5, with stunning views over the rest of the course.
One of the best golf courses in the country.
