Outdoor golf doesn't get much better than Dalfaber Golf Club, with the imposing Cairngorm Mountains above and the banks of the spey alongside it.
The nine-hole course in Aviemore is a welcome addition to any golf trip in this part of Scotland, and is a great way to wind down from the more formidable championship course at Spey Valley.
Despite being a short course, though, don't fall into the trap of underestimating the fifth hole, which drives uphill over 200 yards.
The tee shot off the seventh is arguably the most memorable, as it has to be straight to avoid a narrow line of trees on either side, while penal rough on some of the other holes will not be the easiest to navigate.
