Forres Golf Club is home to a fantastic 18-hole parkland course, that was originally opened in 1889.
Since then, the club and course has become an integral part of the town in Fife. The course begins with four par-4s, with the opening hole one of the most unnerving tee shots on the course, with out of bounds lurking down the right.
The signature hole undoubtedly comes at the 16th. The short par-4 is reachable for some of the longer hitters, but danger awaits with bushes to the left, and water for the badly mishit ball.
The layout is absolutely one of the best parkland layouts in the north of Scotland, which is only enhanced by the excellent conditioning of the course.
