Nairn Golf Club

One of the finest links courses in the country, Nairn Golf Club is home to a fantastic links course, that has a prestigious history.

The course has recently undergone small changes, including to the first hole, where the green now sits close to the water. All these small pieces of work mean this course is going from strength to strength.

The first seven holes run towards Inverness, along the coastline, so if you get a wind into your face, it's a particularly tough start.

The final hole is a great par-5, which offers a good chance to leave yourself an eagle putt to finish.

The Nairn Golf Club was home to the Amateur Championship in 2021, where one of the most dramatic finals took place, as Laird Shepherd came from eight holes behind to win on the second extra hole.

A fantastic links course that will test any golfer, this is well worth playing.
