Biggar Golf Club

There aren't too many golf course in Scotland, never mind the world, that lay claim to their course record being held by a former Ryder Cup player and Open Champion. Biggar, though, is not like any other golf course. Paul Lawrie's professional course record of 63 is expected to stand for some time. The course is fairly flat, although it is very scenic in parts as it basks in rolling Borders countryside, a great asset for any golf course to have. The short ninth, with water to the left and out of bounds on the right, is the signature hole and has ruined many a promising scorecard.
