Built in 1905, the original concept of Banchory Golf Club was to provide a local course for its villagers. But as it has developed, it has attracted golfers from afar to visit the venue less than 20 miles outside Aberdeen.
Extensively remodelled by renowned Scottish golf course architect John Souter and set above the bonnie banks of the Royal river - The River Dee - this picturesque par 18-hole golf course offers a fine challenge to golfers of all standards. The par-69 parkland layout is not a long one at 5,801 yards - but will stand the test of time with treelined fairways causing difficulties for even the lowest of handicappers.
